Change downstairs kitchen/diner layout

Hi, attached is our current layout which includes a too hot/cold conservatory. Quotes to knock it down and extend so we can knock through are astronomical. Can anyone think of a way to change it? Our kitchen needs replacing, it's tiny and in the middle of the house. I'd like a kitchen diner if poss.

The drawing is our rough layout. I'm up for knocking walls down adding walls etc.

Can you change the lounge diner to a kitchen diner, and then make the kitchen and whatever is the small room next to it a kind of lounge / snug?

I think the snug would be too small, couldn't get a 2 seater sofa in there. Also it's a room to get to the utility.

Could you put a wall up between the lounge diner and then open up between the kitchen and dining to create a big family space?
