Upstairs balcony brushing leaves onto ours

Hello

Posting this more as a tongue in cheek problem than one that needs a real answer to.

I live in a block of flats. Built around 2010, 6 stories. I’m on the floor beneath the top floor. The ‘penthouse’ flats have a terrace, that is set a tiny bit back. The other flats below all have balconies on top of each other.

Most balconies have just some tables and chairs and a few plants. But the penthouse above me, have an entire garden. Think Japanese Maples, Bay Trees, Miniature cherry trees, all types of tree et cerera. Now that it’s Autumn, some of these are losing their leaves.

We keep having to sweep up leaves off our balcony. I assumed this was the wind, until I was stood by the door early one morning and could hear and see the upstairs neighbours brushing the leaves off their terrace down onto ours!

I can see other balconies below terraces with plants and none of them have leaves.

Is this cheeky or what! Even if they were not brushing them onto our balcony, by pushing them off the edge, they’d land on the patio of the bottom floor apartments.

Just have a neighbourly word. Keep it friendly - they really just may not think about where those leaves actually end up!

inconsiderate people. speak with them.

Sweep up the leaves, then use a drone to drop them back onto their balcony.

Neighbours might think it a bit passive-aggressive, but will soon get the message!

A big bag of leaves outside of their front door with note - "I think you misplaced these - from your neighbour below - nb this is considered tipping"
Op have you looked on the management rules for tenants in your block - they might be disobeying them
