Worcester Park - inclusive of LGBT families?

Hi there,

My wife and I currently live in Tooting and are considering a move to Worcester Park next year, as we’re priced out of anything bigger here. We’re a two-mum family with a 20 month old daughter. I’ve read a couple of news articles about a recent homophobic attack in Worcester Park, and about one a couple of years ago in another part of London, by a guy from Worcester Park.

Of course, the actions of a very small minority do not represent the majority, but it’s generally something that we’re very mindful of, particularly as our daughter will be starting school in a few years’ time. I was wondering whether anyone knows of any two-mum families (or two-dad families) in Worcester Park, and/or whether it’s generally considered an inclusive place?

Thanks!

Yes very inclusive. You won’t have any problems there generally speaking (can’t account for the odd weirdo, but you can find that anywhere)

We are local to WP and I know of two two-Mum families at our primary school.

We moved from WP a few years ago and found it very diverse and inclusive, similar to other areas of London.
