Would appreciate advice.
I let my house out when I met dh and moved into his. Now looking to buy somewhere else together.
We are struggling a bit. We can remortgage but only for a small amount which would leave us without any wriggle room.
Or sell in which case we’d be laughing - but need to evict the tenant. There’s absolutely nothing on the market and so this could be a lengthy and unpleasant process.
Selling to an existing landlord is unlikely to be a very appealing option because the rent is considerably under market rate.
Any thoughts or views? Not sure what to do.
