Can I use any griddle pan (that’s induction friendly) or do I have to buy the neff griddle to use the frying pan setting.

Any griddle pan suitable for an induction hob will work.

Yes, any griddle - even a cast iron one will work though you'd want to be careful with it as it'll be heavy!

This one works: www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B002CMLTXG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?psc=1&tag=mumsnetforu03-21&ie=UTF8

You can use a silicon mat under the griddle to protect the hob and stop the griddle sliding around - it's thin enough that it doesn't interfere with the magnet.

Ta both.

I was reading the instruction book, with a wet towel on my forehead, and it was saying to be careful if using 'frying function' where it heats up the griddle and tells you when to put the oil in as if you aren't using the NEFF griddle it can burn....
