Waterproof laminate - any experiences?

I've been quoted for some wooden flooring through my kitchen and dining room but the prices are eye watering. I also think wooden floors aren't the most practical for such high traffic areas but don't want vinyl. I have karndean in my bathroom which is fab but doesn't quite look like wood.

So, I've found some waterproof laminate and wondered if it's a good (ok?) compromise. Looks nice in the pic and has some good reviews but would like to hear of any real life experiences re fitting, look, durability etc

Link below to the one I'm considering. TIA

I've just had Quick step click vinyl put in my nee kitchen. It looks amazing and seems sturdy. Not sure exactly how much it cost as it was bought through Howdens.

I've just had that floor fitted in the Topaz Oak. So far really happy with it. We had a leak from the bathroom when the floor was half fitted. It dried really well and only the end piece (where the side was still exposed) had to be replaced.

That's good to hear @Helzzzz. May I ask a few questions?

Does it look like wood boards - I love my karndean bathroom floor but it doesn't look like actual boards

Is there much other cost of underlay etc?

Was it ok to fit? Pretty similar to normal laminate I imagine?

Thanks in advance Smile
