I live in a top floor flat, rain started leaking quite badly from above the window in my living room. Some roofers came out but said they can't fix the gutter til the rain goes off as it's dangerous for them. The weather forecast is rain for the next 2 weeks 
so I think I am going to have a severely leaky window for 2 weeks.
Does anyone have any tips on how to manage a leak for so long? Obviously I've got some pots set up under the leak but I'm concerned it's really going to damage the wooden panels on my window pane. I'm also concerned that rain inside means a damp atmosphere which is obviously not good since I have a baby. Should I get a dehumidifier?
If anyone has any tips or knowledge on this I'd be grateful!
