I love the decor, great town and an income from the basement flat. What a house!

Agree the decor is beautiful and it’s the kind of place I’d pick to stay as an AirB&B - but way too fussy for me as a home. And that basement flat is a claustrophobia nightmare, like living in a dungeon!

Anyway, all I know is that it’s almost half the price of my London house which is less than half the size, so seems a lot of house for the money.

@bloodywhitecat The second kitchen is part of the self-contained flat in the basement. That could be rented out long-term or as a air bnb because Southport is a seaside town.

Its not really a 4 bed tho is it. It looks like some chancer has split the house in two, bodged the layout and thinks that a couple of cupboards and an oven shoehorned into a corner equals a kitchen

The main house could be lovely but it's far too busy for my taste. The basement, despite being the plainest room, seems far too claustrophobic with the ceilings being so low. I can't say I like much of it as is.

Hahahahahaha, that's exactly what it looks like.

I think the main kitchen is a very bad layout I would remove the bar/counter top breaking up the middle of the room as it would just get in my way. But otherwise the house will probably be much improved once their furniture has gone, then just change some of the wallpaper and it could be much calmer.

Not sure the ceiling height in the bedroom basement would pass building regs.

My house is pretty maximalist tbh. Lots of colour but not so insta trendy as this one. Nice to see something other than grey.
