Hi all - looking for guidance and advice.
Our DS has secured a confirmed place at the Lboro Uni and we are excited about his placement. In order to save on acco costs, we are considering to buy a property (3 bed house), where he lives and then rents out two rooms to his friends or sharers. There is a mortgage product - Buy for Uni - offered by certain building societies.
Has anyone had any experience with this type of mortgage ?
Anyone tried in Loughborough ? Looking for co-partners to share tips and advice.
Loughborough has strict rules against House with multiple occupation HMO, however I have heard that owner occupier living and sharing rooms is allowed.
Any thoughts ???
