This house is for sale quite near me. It's owned by the boss of a security firm I think.

Gosh, that's elaborate. It could look quite decent if it was all toned down a bit.

londonmummy1966 · 20/09/2021 16:08

It looks to me as if the couple couldn't agree on trendy grey or rainbow brights and agreed to split the house between them and decorate accordingly..........

And the hot tub in a shed with a corrugated plastic roof. Envy not envy....

BewareTheBeardedDragon · 20/09/2021 16:24

Flamboyant. Not liking the view.

Gardenwalldilema · 20/09/2021 17:00

I can't stand this estate agent shit, it's a bottom heavy 3 bed, on what planet is that a 5 bedroom house?

emmathedilemma · 20/09/2021 17:21

That's the one on the corner opposite all the car show rooms isn't it? I've always thought it looked like it was owned by a traveller family.....lots of vans, mobile homes and horse box type stuff outside...... whoever owns it i can't see why anyone with that much money to spend would want to live in that location!

beguilingeyes · 24/09/2021 15:50

I see that, and I raise you this. This is my lottery house at the moment. The master bedroom has a dressing room and an ensuite and there's a pantry. I long for a pantry.

Art Deco heaven.

It actually has some lovely original features if you look past the decor.

TheIrritableGoldfish · 24/09/2021 15:56

I love the green hallway

reprehensibleme · 24/09/2021 16:00

That London house is beautiful.

dubyalass · 24/09/2021 16:26

I think the Edinburgh house has gorgeous bones - it's exactly what I'd like if money were no object. Totally not my taste inside and I fucking hate hot tubs and outdoor bars, but I could do so much with both the house and the garden. The London one is less my sort of thing but the original features are wonderful and I love the blue blinds in the kitchen (child of the 70s here).

SantanaBinLorry · 24/09/2021 16:56

aaarrrgh, they forgot to put the liner plate back on the table in photo No.11. Driving me nuts!

House two is a beauty - Jade tiled bathroom!

BruceAndNosh · 24/09/2021 17:06

There is ONE item in that house that I would allow over my threshold and that's the bowl of fruit from the kitchen

parietal · 24/09/2021 17:08

love the art deco one.

Couldn't agree more ! Great situation if you want to go to B&Q , buy a car or pick up a KFC or Burger King .
Suzysunflower · 24/09/2021 20:00

The pictures are completely doctored , I could not go past that.

TheYearOfSmallThings · 24/09/2021 20:07

The Edinburgh one is fundamentally a very nice house, but the decor is bad.

The London house is gorgeous - I wish it could be listed, before someone strips it and turns it into a grey and silver Barrett home

Lochroy · 24/09/2021 20:29

"All furniture is available by separate negotiation". You can leave it all!

Lochroy · 24/09/2021 20:29

HAVE. You can HAVE it all. FFS. (Or leave it, if you'd rather)

Chicchicchicchiclana · 24/09/2021 20:31

OMG.

Lots for words for once.

Rizzoli123 · 24/09/2021 20:59

That's lovely. Not sure about the green walls though

OriginalLilibet · 24/09/2021 21:00

The Edinburgh house has every single interior and exterior design cliche from the last 30 years in one house. It must have been a nice little house once but it has been over extended to death. Tragic.

BewareTheBeardedDragon · 25/09/2021 00:23

Oh wow - the London house is to die for. LOVE it.

Balonziaga · 25/09/2021 00:42

The London one is gorgeous. The green bathroom especially. I hope the buyer appreciates and keeps the furniture.

The Edinburgh one is the Per Una of houses. Is there any space left that we can pop a little embellished swoosh of beads on? Great, here stick this diamante tassel on as well whilst your at it....

user1473878824 · 25/09/2021 03:18

Is that a bin that has to live in front of cupboards?

WeAreTheHeroes · 25/09/2021 04:41

The bins been moved to open the bi-folds is my guess, but the EA should have moved it out of shot.

I agree with the pp that it looks like it's a traveller home - the decor and furniture very much so. The art deco house is amazing - that fireplace is fabulous.
