Wall knock down rough cost

Hi
We want to knock down a wall from the kitchen to small dining room and I’m wondering if anyone could give indication of (rough) cost for this?
It’s load baring, about 3m and we’d like to put in a 1.5m peninsular island in between.
Thanks

This is one of those annoying answers of: depends where you are! We're south west and paid about £800 for a knock down, RSJ, and plaster finish. That was before lockdown 1 and price of materials have increased.

I expected that might be the case! South west too. Thank you.

We paid £1000 for knock down and rsj. Didn’t include a finish. This was about 6 months ago.

Remember to budget for
Building warrant and completion certificate
Replastering
Redecorating
Replacing the flooring in both rooms
Moving radiator if necessary
Electrician to move/ fit sockets / switches / lights
Plumber if you need sink on island
