I searched this and couldn’t find the right threads, so apologies if this had been done.
I’ve bought a Victorian terrace and in the guest room no storage. I’ve had a quote from a well recommended joiner: 1.8m long, two sets of double doors, cupboards over to ceiling for storage, hanging rail on one side, double hanging on half of the other and shelves in the rest of the space. Hand built and painted. I’ll use this space as spill over from my own room as well as for guests. I’m not interested in PAX or anything like that just wanted to know how this quote compares to others who have had this done. He said it will take about two weeks or just under, price is £3000 all in. London.

Seems reasonable to me. We paid four grand for our wall. Fitted wardrobes are notoriously expensive.

Thanks @Bluntness100. When I first saw I thought ‘whoa’ but when writing it out it’s actually quite a bit of work. Just finding someone to do it is half the battle!!!

That sounds about right to me. We’ll be doing something similar next year and I expect to pay around that.

We had these installed yesterday and paid £2,700, NI. Mine are longer at about 2.1m (I think!) and I've obviously got drawers in as well.

I was lucky in that I got that price in May and our joiner honoured it even with price increases he had to announce in July due to uplift in timber costs. Unfortunately I'm in the market for a fence as well so keep hearing about it the bloody price of wood atm from anyone I've spoken to about it.

So 3K in London, with the price of wood the way it is now, I'd say that's pretty on the nose.

Ok thanks. No drawers as not needed (have a large chest of drawers in the room) but they would have added significantly I think. Yours look great.

Hi - we are paying just over £4K for ours - based in Surrey.
