Best kitchen counter tops? Must be easy to clean!

Not quartz, not granite. I was hoping for wood but that seems like it needs a lot of TLC . The cabinets are white and those won't change but the counters are old and need replacing. It's a small kitchen in a flat! Any other types of counters I should consider?

What's an easy to clean but stylish kitchen counter?

We had solid oak in last house and got it again when we re did kitchen in new house. It’s easy to maintain with osmo oil twice a year. Any wee dinks can be sanded out if need be. We’ve had it round sinks without any issues whatsoever. It’s beautiful too and looks great in a traditional style of kitchen.
We’ve got wood effect laminate in the utility room and it’s nowhere near as nice but no maintenance at all

Not wood. Dark granite is very easy to maintain. Had mine for years - looks good as new
