Hello, I am planning an IKEA kitchen and wondering about the worktops? Do they look good when installed and are they good quality/ durable.
I’m thinking of IKEA units plus Duropal worktops as an alternative. Any comments welcome.

We had an IKEA kitchen installed around 2 years ago and the worktops (laminate) looked great when installed but haven’t worn that well IMO around the sink area. Happy with most of the rest of the kitchen and fitting though.

We got ikea quartz-effect silestone - worth the cost!

Thanks for these insights. Didn’t know IKEA did Silestone.

I was quite impressed with the quality of the IKEA quartz / stone worktops in the Greenwich showroom. Really made the kitchens seem premium vs the laminate counterparts. I can't speak to the durability but they felt nice to the touch!
