Help floor out is stock - what Karndean floor with dove grey units

Kitchen demolished and we need a floor, we had ordered some Karndean (Opus)but we’ve been told floor out of stock until mid October. Any ideas for a Karndean floor of a dove grey kitchen. Dining room next door and hallway both lead into kitchen and that’s engineered oak and has gone a bit orange. Wanted a stone floor but nothing that looks like concrete, but now think maybe a herringbone could work. Any ideas as we are running out of time and I threw the floor samples away as we had decided.. and my husband assured me it was in stock!

Have a look at Amtico and see if they have something similar to the Karndean you wanted.

My fitter told me that Karndean have been having supply issues all year. We had to switch to an Amtico oak plank instead of Karndean when we started our refurb project back in March.

Do you know which Opus it is? Is it out of stock everywhere? Could you get it in and then just have it fitted?

I used www.luxuryflooringandfurnishings.co.uk/vinyl-flooring.html nest click ridged collection for a client who had originally wanted karndean - I'm sure they had a grey one

We switched to Amtico for the same reason. I believe Karndean comes from China.

How about Country Oak from Karndean. We've just ordered some and had it delivered. We were told they were having a lot of problems but they always have Country Oak in as it's so popular!

Autumngoldleaf · 14/09/2021 19:36

What's the difference between that click vinyl and karndeen and antico

Autumngoldleaf · 14/09/2021 19:42

Wonky that company has awful reviews.

I loved the flooring and got exited! I'm also looking, sorry to barge in op but the company seems to be trying to sell cheap Chinese knock offs m

We have this Karndean and the cupboards are white. Our worktops are a mushroom colour with gray and sparkly speckles in it. The colour looks slightly more grey in real life. I think this would work.

We ordered Opus Argenta, fitter is doing the floor so just need the product. With oak engineered flooring in the dining room next to kitchen and flowing through we thought stone would look better. We wanted large rectangular slabs and it didn’t look Amtico did them but will go to a floor shop today.

@Autumngoldleaf my clients was ok so I guess they were lucky

There are shortages of flooring at the moment (along with everything else in construction atm) so it's a real pain lots are out of stock and nowhere can guarantee delivery waiting times. It may be worth phoning companies to check what they actually have in the warehouse as sometimes websites show availability but they then have to order in which is where the delays occur.
