Boiler service cancelled again will this effect my warranty?

My boiler was installed 5 years ago so comes with a 5 year warranty. We had it serviced last June and booked in with someone who then cancelled and gave us a later date but said they would back date it. We have been waiting ever since due to him cancelling or bloody covid but now it's obvious he's not reliable and I need to get it done before winter. Will this now affect the warranty with it being a few months late?

I don’t understand your issue. If it’s five years old then it is out of warranty now whoever services it or whenever that service happens.

Is there a problem with it?

There is usually a degree of common sense with the better brands, I know over lockdown Worcester gave a 6 month leeway. As long as the boiler is looked after and not serviced every 5 years or when it breaks the warranty should stand.

Although if it's a budget brand they may try anything to wiggle out of it!

Oh I see! Boiler is only two years old. Well, so long as you get the service booked In as soon as poss it’ll be fine and the delay of a few months (because it should’ve been done in June) won’t really matter.
