Brighton move

Hi we have been offered a house (council) so can't pick in Brighton
Thing is I have no idea what the area is like it's at the top of coombe road so between places I think ? I'm just a bit nervous and wandered if anyone knew or lived in the area I have young children and will need to find primary school

Not the best but council houses are like hens teeth in Brighton so grab it.

Don't understand why you would be offered a council house in Brighton when you don't know the area though.

If it's the Whitehawk estate you're in trouble.

I used to live one street away from Coombe road. Lovely little community - it isn't moulsecombe or Whitehawk. There is a primary school on your doorstep. Nice cafes and stuff. Not a posh area but super friendly with everything you need.
