Front Door Help

We have just bought a 1930s house which needs some updating. One of the first things we want to do is replace the front door as currently it's a bit of a monstrosity. I really want it to look traditional and in keeping with the age of the house and wanted inspiration from anyone that has done this in recent years with a composite door. We would like to keep the light we get now, but have some sort of obscured glass for privacy. I also like the idea of traditional stained glass leaded lights but only if they look realistic and not tacky. I would appreciate ideas and photos of yours please!

I replaced the front door on a 1930s house with a composite door - though was replacing upvc rather than original. There's so many composite door designs that you'll be able to find something suitable. I've had loads of compliments on our door. House also felt less drafty and less road traffic noise coming in with new door.

Thanks @IDreamOfLogCabins.
The current door is also UPVC which I hate. I think part of the problem is there's so much choice so I need to see examples of what people have had in their houses for inspiration! It seems like a massive decision Confused

We're doing this atm. Still not decided but there are not actually that many 1930s styles, bizarrely, considering so many houses of that era.

Solidor Stirling and London and Rockdoor Newark are the closest. Wooden door quotes are coming in at 4k to 8.8k Grin

Thanks @SwedishEdith. The first quote we have had back with a basic design that we could amend to suit us is 4k! I really didn't expect it to be that much, but it is a big door
