Channel 5 Room to Improve

Has anyone watched this? Its only just come onto my radar and I've binge watched the first couple of series. The Architect Dermot has some crazy ideas, but he also does seem to have a fantastic way of making the most of the houses he works on. I wish he'd designed our recent extension! I'm looking at our extended house now and it doesnt make the best of the light or the views really (it was designed by an atcitect, but an ancient one who pretty much designed what we told him to. Oh to have the chance over!). If you're planning work on your house any time soon I'd reccommend a watch.

We’ve only recently discovered this too, and are loving it. Dermot is hilarious, he’s an awful one for making decisions over the top of the owners heads on the grounds that “it was needed urgently”, esp when it means he gets to keep important design features. But it usually looks amazing, showing what a skill it is to be able to see the big picture.
It feels a bit more local to us than the usual U.K. property renovation shows, so we love it for that reason.

It's a show / series that has already been shown on an Irish state television channel.
It was very popular.
A new series is always hotly anticipated.
Dermot is a "celebrity " in Ireland.
He likes things done his way.
My friend said if she wins the lottery she'll use him as her architect.
He's not for me. I like to have more input
