UFH water or electric?

We are looking to install UFH under a new tiled floor. Probably porcelain tiles. I get very mixed opinions on the pros and cons of water vs electric.

Anyone know the good bits and bad bits of each?

Water is more expensive to install but much much cheaper to run than electric. I have had both and would go with water.

Wet UFH is superior in every single possible way to electric.

Thank you Cherubimbum. What happens if there is a leak?

Thickness is probably ok for water, I have about an inch to the back door to use up and about the same to the hall. Water pipes are thick.

The pipe would be difficult to pierce, can't imagine how you would come to so unless drilling into the floor. The pipes are laid in continuous loops and the only place they might possibly leak would be where they connect to the manifold which is above ground. We laid our own and got it from Wunda, they have videos & info on site that helps better understand how it all goes together. Interesting even if you don't want to DIY.
