UFH with a solid wood floor

Has anyone done this successfully? I've seen a lot of solid wood flooring say it's suitable for UFH but also read only engineered wood flooring is suitable for UFH...

We don't have UFH with a wooden floor but were told the same thing. Engineered flooring is basically on a base of plywood which resists changing shape. Solid wood can warp and shrink with the grain.

(But I'm just repeating what a SALESMAN told us.)

I wanted solid wood with UFH, but pretty much everything I read said the risk of warping was too great. We've gone for engineered - it's only been down a couple of weeks but it looks good, and was very quick to lay!
