We are thinking about having our spare room decorated. It needs replastering, an artex ceiling skimmed, the skirting replacing (we have to remove some fitted wardrobes and the previous occupiers removed the skirting when they fitted them) and then repaint. We've been quoted nearly £2900 for this by one firm. That's too much surely? We had quotes pre lockdown for this which much, much less! We are in the SE.
