Market Drayton ?

We are looking at maybe moving to Market Drayton and have primary aged DC. We don't know the area at all. Can anyone advise please?

I can't help on any specifics I'm afraid but I grew up not too far away and I would say it's a small pleasant country town in nice countryside. It is rather cut off though and I don't know what public transport's like

We had family who lived in Audlem, just outside Market Drayton, although they worked in MD.
Audlem is a lovely village with a good primary school.
