Probably a simple one... but, how do I secure these stepping stone?
Turf has been removed. Type 1 base applied and wacker used. Weed membrane put down. We started putting the slate on (ran out, awaiting another bag) but decided it needed something to break it up a bit so got these stepping stones. The area isn't flat flat as it slopes naturally (there are some water man holes and some drain pipes against the house so we haven't built up to level.
How should we secure them? We don't intend to use them to walk on as such (don't access the garden via the front very often, it at all). Do they need securing 🤔
Having looked it seems we should dig through the weed membrane but maybe too late now it's been wracked? And also we don't want the stones to sit below the slate or the slate will be constantly covering them 🤔🤔🤔 maybe we should just return the stepping stones 🤣🤣🙈 novice diy'ers (obviously!)
