How do I know whether my water is high pressure or low pressure?

I need to buy a kitchen tap and it turns out I need to know whether the water through it will be high pressure or low pressure. How do I find this out?!

(I live in a second floor flat, where there is a combi boiler and no water tank, and all the rooms are on the same level, if this makes any difference.)

Thanks :)

I think it’s to do with whether you can stop the flow with a thumb over the tap… be prepared to get wet!!

There's a way to measure it on several UK web sites, eg: www.homeserve.com/uk/living/plumbing-and-drainage/how-to-test-water-pressure/ I've never tried it though!

Watching as I have the same question. Got a bargain tap from Aldi, it says high pressure only but don’t know the difference
