Doorstop that doesn't bounce

I have a very narrow utility room, it was meant to have a sliding door but we didn't have the space for the slide mechanism.

I have a regular door now and doorstop but it has too much bounce and I keep whacking myself on the door handle every time I empty the washing machine. Any ideas on something that would work better?

A door wedge?
Tie it back somehow?

Can you put a magnet in the door stop and back of the door so it catches?

Sorry what is that? Magnet sounds better then bouncing thing that gives me a bruise in the exact same spot weekly!

Yeah that’s the very thing. You could also just super glue you own magnet to the door and current door stop. But might not look the best!

We have these on the wall where the handle would bang and they work really well.
