Has anyone managed to find a removal company prepared to offer insurance should move have to be cancelled/postponed at short notice? It used to be available for approx £60 but BAR aren't advising them to offer it any more (because of Covid) and are basically saying it's up to the customer to avoid catching Covid before the move.
Which isn't very practical - we're planning a move costing c£5k in October. I'm working on site until probably a few days before and DD will be at primary school until day before. We are being cautious (we've shielded as DH is CEV), haven't caught Covid so far and adults are double jabbed but we can't self-isolate for ten days beforehand! So risk is probably low but it's a lot of money to risk.
