Move to Newcastle area

Looking at moving to Newcastle area, where's a nice area I can buy for up to £180k.

What are you looking to buy? House or flat? Number of bedrooms? Do you need a garden?

I was going to post some links but are quite a few areas I can think of tbh that you could get a 2 bed for that price. Probably depends you want to be close to city centre, suburbs, near the coast/countryside? Would you rather a 3 bed in a slightly less nice area if you could afford it?

@PotteringAlong on the coast would be first choice then country but not remotely so.

I would look at cullercoats, the ‘Tynemouth fringe’ side of North shield although that will be mostly yardins, Marden Estate.

South Shields tends to be cheaper but I don’t really know that area.
