How much did you pay for it? Did you have to remove it yourselves?

NoToast · 04/09/2021 11:47

Very cool. I've been keeping an eye out for second hand kitchens, did you buy a much bigger kitchen so you can get it to fit?

Itwasgoodwhileitlasted · 04/09/2021 11:53

Amazing. Never even thought of buying a second hand kitchen! What a great idea!

Coogee · 04/09/2021 11:59

I had a look at some of their other sales. A John Lewis of Hungerford fridge surround. £15,100 reduced from £22k.

Some people must have more money than sense!

DaphneDeloresMoorhead · 05/09/2021 08:00

Hi all, we will be removing the kitchen ourselves. It won't be fitted until January/Feb time and we will be storing it til then.

The owners sold it as they were knocking down the house, building a new one abd couldn't be bothered with storing it. I reckon it's worth altogether around £60-70k. Their house at current market value is about £3 mil. They are moving into the gym above the indoor pool while they rebuild 😂

Its gorgeous. How much was it ?

Itwasgoodwhileitlasted · 05/09/2021 09:36

I'm really intrigued about this. How did you know it'll fit. Do you have to have exact same size kitchen? Do the company help you with it?

Puffalicious · 05/09/2021 10:29

Yes, I missed how much it was.

callmeadoctor · 05/09/2021 15:55

I missed how much it was?

DaphneDeloresMoorhead · 06/09/2021 13:43

It was £11k

We measured up all the units and DH made a plan of how they would fit with his friend. We made sure we were only looking at kitchens large enough fir our space which is 12' x 24'

Most kitchens are modular so you just reconfigure to suit your space

No the company don't help you - they are a middleman between you and the seller, that's all

Gosh. This may well be an option for me next year. Keep us up to date with your lovely new kitchen. What a bargain!!

FreeBritnee · 06/09/2021 17:42

Love it!!

NotAnotherBloodyNameChange · 11/09/2021 15:09

Got my second hand kitchen on eBay, already dismantled. It was only a couple of hundred & the price of the van we hired to collect it. Bargain.
