replacing upvc panel

Hi All,

Getting little jobs done at the moment and have this catflap to get rid of. I assume quite straight forward replacing of panel... but what kind of company am I searching for to do this job?? Or could we do it ourselves??

Yes you can do that yourself very cheaply & with basically no tools. Pry the beading off, measure panel size and thickness, order online.

Interesting... have you done this? Any tips? Where can I order the replacement panel from?

If you want to do it yourself, you would need some basic tools (eg chisel) to remove beading in order to measure. Then search online and you'll find people who will cut to size for you. You'll want a reinforced panel to make it harder for burglars.
Otherwise find a window company to do it all for you.

We broke a double glazed glass panel that sort of size, and made to measure and fitted was £180

Here you go, OP:

Pop the panel out, measure it, pop back in, order a new one.
