Inspiration for 1950s house windows

Am struggling here! 1950s v square, almost art deco style looking house. Windows desperately needing replaced. Generic white upvc windows in place…they are dull and uninspiring so don’t want to replace like for like. I’m thinking along the Art Deco lines to be true to original but none of the houses round here have the original windows in place. Anyone done anything unusual/interesting with their windows in a 1950s build?

That’s lovely! Our house nowhere near as lovely as that, but imagine those windows replaced with bog standard white upvc glazing and that’s what we have now The originals were along those lines… I guess I’m looking for something that nods to the original but is more practical and won’t look crazily out of place in the street.
