Has anyone used Dulux Soft Stone on walls?

We moved into our new house in May of this year - every room needs decorating (sold as in need of modernisation).

I would love to paint our kitchen in Dulux Soft Stone but having tried a test patch I’ve realised it’s exactly the same colour as the new (dry) plaster. Is this weird? It’s such a lovely warm colour and goes really well with everything else in the kitchen. Will it just end up looking like we have exceptionally smooth and even plaster that we haven’t bothered to paint?

This is one of our rooms on Soft Stone. It can look pinkish in certain light. This room is west facing. It's a nice colour though. Try painting a few sheets of paper with it and tack them in various spots around the room. You'll get a better feel for how it's going to look.

It's a beautiful colour.
Really like that.

I agree I think it looks really calming. I’m going to be painting my front room before Christmas and I’m looking for this type of neutral colour that will go with any accent colours.

I've got it in my kitchen but it takes on a slight green ish tinge in my south facing kitchen, like a green grey. It's one of those colours that looks different in different rooms as I tried it in our nursery and it came out a very dark brown/grey colour which we didn't like x
