Wobble about building works!

Building works due to start on Monday, and I'm having a wobble! We've currently got a kitchen diner, downstairs loo, rectangular extension and conservatory out into the garden. Issues are the conservatory temperature makes it unusable half the time, the lack of natural light, and the cramped dining area. Idea is to get rid of the conservatory and make the extension bigger, have sliding doors into the garden, a sky light, move the loo out of the way and open up through, making more space for a big dining table and bringing light in. However it's been a tricky one to work out. The loo in particular always gets in the way! Have we picked the right plan?! Attached existing layout and the chosen plan...

This is one of the other options I was toying with at one point, but discarded because it makes the space pretty narrow and complicates the plumbing.

Love your new layout! I think it'll make the space much more useable.

I had a remodel recently, including a wobble. Absolutely love it now!

I think it will look fab !!

Iv been redecorating and also changed the lay out downstairs , plenty of wobbles ! It’s a lot of money isn’t it and effort . Iv been happy with everything in the end Smile

That makes it sounds like iv just painted haha I mean I have knocked out walls as an example

@Changemaname1 I recently spent 6 weeks manually scraping off 4 layers of wallpaper and had the whole room replastered. My first visitor asked me if I had repainted... Hmm

I think it looks great! So good to have all that functional space and a proper utility room. The dream!
