Hello! We have completed our telephone appointment, returned initial e-sign docs, valuation has taken place (Monday)... at what stage would be expect the full underwriting and therefore offer to be given? Radio silence from Barclays driving me mad!!! Thank you!

If Barclays used countrywide for the valuation, you could be in for a long wait. Absolutely useless.

Mine took weeks and weeks and weeks and that was just a remortgage. Valuation was done almost immediately like yours

Yes, the valuation was done a couple of days after the full application was submitted. It was a desktop valuation.

It really is how long is a piece of string territory!

We've just received ours. Took 2 weeks from telephone appointment to mortgage offer. A physical valuation was required as its a new build..its the second mortgage we've had with Barclays and both times were very quick.

We got an offer within 48 hours which was a desktop valuation.
