Denbighshire area to be more specific.
Just wondering how long it took from offer to completion?

I was told it would roughly be around 6-8 weeks but I know every case is different. Already have the mortgage offer in place, just waiting for searches to come back now. Waiting time is apparently 3-4 weeks and I'm on week 3. Slightly impatient!!

I'm using a solicitor dased in Denbighshire for a transaction elsewhere. Not been the quickest solicitor ever. Things just seem to be taking ages everywhere, by the sounds of it.

We bought last year in Conwy area so not far from you. Took 3 months from offer accepted to moving in, there were no obstacles from us or the seller but it still took that long. Ive moved house several times over the last decade and it always seems to take that long.

I know someone who bought in Denbigh recently and it took 8 weeks from offer accepted to move in, but I suppose it’s all down to searches, solicitors etc & there was no chain!

I’ve just bought in Flintshire and it took nearly 4 months. Searches took 7 weeks to come back.Had to book survey almost 4 weeks in advance. My vendor moved into temporary accommodation in the end as her purchase wasn’t ready. We were in rented so chain free. It seemed to take an age…..but we’re here now and feel very lucky. It’s such a beautiful part of the world.
