Please critique my kitchen plan!

I'm trying to come up with a new kitchen layout and it's tying my brain in knots. Any helpful suggestions would be welcome!

It's basically open plan kitchen/sitting room. The little room on the plan is the larder and the island will be made from the drawers in the second pic (just the drawers not the rest of the hideous cabinet). Counters will be white quartz.

Can you push the island slightly to the right and add another bench on the left wall for more prep space?

Where is the seating area going to be?

Boring question, but where will you sit & eat/chat, and where to the bins and appliances go?

Yes you don’t have much space for food prep at all. Once you have factored in a microwave, kettle, toaster, bread bin and coffee machine, plus a bit of washing up it looks like the space you’ll have on your worktops will be minimal. Could you move the sink across to the left so you have a longer run in the middle? Or have a different (bigger) island which maximises the space for food prep- this one looks a little small. If you can’t make a bit more food prep space then I would consider having an off- counter integrated microwave and maybe putting the toaster and coffee machine on a special shelf in the pantry.
