IKEA kitchen help!

We've decided to get our new kitchen from a combination of IKEA for carcass, and Naked Doors for doors.

I've just had a go at IKEA's kitchen planner and am hopelessly lost. It's not clear to me what cabinets (and inserts) are needed, whether what I'm selecting are even from the same line, etc.

Do I need to go into an IKEA to get assistance from an IKEA professional? I was hoping to avoid this but I don't know how anyone can navigate their planner!

Thank you Brew

I’d arrange an in store appointment and go in with your measurements. I found their online designer absolutely hopeless but the in store designer made it look easy and knew exactly what should go where.

The new planner is a bit rubbish unfortunately - but their Metod carcasses are all the same, it's only the doors that change, so you can't go wrong in terms of which units you're using.

The type/number of internal fittings you want will be up to you, but yes it sounds like you could do with some help from Ikea. If you have an idea already of the layout you want, then an online appointment might be sufficient as the planner will be able to advise on the stuff you're finding tricky yourself. You could try that in the first instance as it might be less hassle to arrange, then upgrade to an in-store appointment if you want further tweaks or layout advice.

Yes go to the store. We had a fantastic planner who did everything for us.
