Would you buy a house without a bath?

Me and DH are buying our first property. We have come across a house for a really decent price and although we haven't viewed it yet, one thing is seriously putting me off... it doesn't have a bath, only a shower.

We have one child but would like 1 more in the near future. The house we live in currently has a bath and a separate cubicle shower so bathing DS hasn't been an issue. Baby bath in the big bath, then bath seat in the bath and now just a non slip mat in the bath.

My question is, if you were in my situation, would you buy a house without a bath?

We don't have the money to renovate and don't know how much it would cost to install a bath just yet.

What's your thoughts?

No it would put me off, we only shower, but a family home needs to have a bath too IMHO. We have recently moved, we brought a property with an en-suite shower room, and a family bathroom with a bath etc and have had another shower installed over the bath. Didn’t want the bath taken out as the option is there if anyone fancied having a bath.

I bought a house with only a shower years ago and didn't have much trouble selling it later. But the house had character and great views so it had other selling points. I did miss having a bath at the time but always shower these days so in my current house the bath is not used.

Next time I replace family bathroom, I will not be buying a new bath. Took bath out of ensuite and installed a huge shower instead, now everyone tries to use my bathroom rather than family bathroom.
