Mirrored cabinet covering area over the vanity unit and the toilet seat

Our bathroom layout is similar to the photo www.pinterest.co.uk/pin/56787645294792149/, i.e. toilet seat between sink vanity unit and bath tub, except it will be in modern with bathroom screen instead of shower curtains.
I included a large wall-mounted mirrored cabinet that would go over the vanity unit and toilet seat.
Now I am having doubts whether such a large mirrored cabinet would look odd and I should get a smaller one just over the vanity unit.
Just wondering if anyone got a large mirrored cabinet and whether you are happy with the look and functionality?
TIA

I’ve had combination toilet and basin units about 1m wide and used a mirror the same width. Not a cabinet though. I think a cabinet will be huge if it spans both yours .

Do you mean because the mirrored cabinet would stick out too much? You can buy slimline ones - I have one with LED lights on the side, it's probably 5-6" deep so doesn't protrude too much. Bring slimline it's not so useful for storage but I'd rather have it than nothing at all.
