My 15 year old belling one has gone pop again. We've replaced the element twice so I'm going to get a new one but I'm bewildered by choice and reviews. The £259 and the £899 ovens all getting good reviews just confuse things. I need it to bake cakes and make roast food but don't need pizza features or anything. Do I go cheap and simple or middle of the road ? I've no clue what the difference is between a £1000 Neff and £259 Indesit. Is it brand? Is the Neff fancy? Will it wash up afterwards? I don't have £1000 to spend so this is a moot point but up to £500. Help!!
