Kitchen pull out taps - good idea?!

We're redoing our kitchen and I like the idea of a pullout tap - one of the ones that looks like a normal tap, rather than the ones that have coils. Are they worth it or just a gimmick? Not sure if they'd be more prone to faults? Any thoughts appreciated!

Mine has a pull out hose nozzle is that what you mean? I wouldn’t be without it. So much easier for cleaning the sink etc

I really like them but my rather heavy handed teenager has broken it three times while doing the washing up!

It took us two years to discover ours (we bought a cancelled order kitchen) and from then on I loved it!

I absolutely love our kitchen tap. It’s by a brand called Blanco and it’s as beautiful now as it was when it was fitted. I’ll see if I can find it online.

There are two sizes and we got the smaller one.

We had one and I loved it, but due the pipework underneath the sink it can cause issues as you effectively have a loop of flexible hose attached to a weighted rubber bung. So if you have space, go for it. Great for sink cleaning.
