Damaged vinyl flooring

So my kids have managed to damage the vinyl flooring in our en suite. We're in the process of moving house. We have yet to exchange but have sold. Obviously I will get new vinyl flooring but it won't be identical to that what was down but will be similar. Do I need to tell my buyer?

I would tell your buyer, tell them how much it's going to cost to repair and offer them that money, in case they were planning to change it anyway.
