When we bought our house, there was a white heated towel rail in the bathroom. Oil heating and it’s connected to the hot water and central heating for warmth.
I noticed at the bottom, the paint work on it peeling and the edges in places were getting rusty despite the bathroom window never being closed. It only holds a towel for show and a hand towel normally.
Our friend is a plumber so I asked him to replace it. He did but with another white one which is now doing exactly the same thing. Does this just a thing that happens with heated towel rails? If I get a more expensive chrome one this time will it just happen again?
