Hello, if an extension is a permitted development, can someone claim it blocks their light? Or is it automatically accepted regardless of objections?

Unfortunately if it’s pd then it can be carried out regardless of the impact.

That is incorrect.

If it blocks their light and they instruct a specialist surveyor they could could ultimately get an injunction.

Planning doesn't trump common law
