Absolutely APPALLING workmanship and customer service. I ordered my windows and doors in Feb- Was given all the spiel by the Rep how great, reliable and professional this company is!!!! My experience has not been remotely like this at all. Waited 5 months for windows and doors - they tell you that they allocate you a liaison officer who will keep in touch with you all the way through the whole process. No such thing, I've had to chase up from day one! Installation dates cancelled due to not having all of the windows and doors, we had taken time off work for this. Came to fit on July 7th, showed up without full delivery - some windows and front door missing. Oh how I wish I'd refused for them to fit that day - had been previously told by supervisor/foreman that they don't fit unless they have the full order in, absolute rubbish!!!! List of problems: Back door glass too large, however they didn't tell us this until they fitted - I've been left with a door that I have to force open and close. None of the windows have been sealed as yet - said they didn't have any sealant!!! Windows are grey and they are either marked, or chipped on every window that has been installed so far. My front door has been left insecure due to my husband taken away brick work in preparation for new door to be fitted. Lounge window beading missing. En suite bathroom window cracked.
Foreman came out 12th July to inspect all the problems, he assured me that this will all be put right and said he'd ring me back on the Wednesday - I'm still waiting for that phone call!! Every time I ring up to speak to the liaison person and ask to speak to a manager there is never anybody there - either out onsite or not in the office - they tell you that they will pass the message on and get them to ring, which hasn't happened up to now 19th July. I'm really upset and regretting using this company, I thought it was a reputable company with good reviews. Great if everything goes to plan but for those of us where there are problems with the goods or installation it's an absolute nightmare. Just feel like I'm getting fobbed off and they don't care at all. I've been left with a house that is not only insecure but also a potential death trap, should there be a fire and we needed to get out the back door! I'm skipping going to the ombudsman and now going to trading standards due to the fact that my house has been left unsafe, insecure and Pennine have not treat any of this as urgent. Disgraceful how they ignore and fob you off, just adds to all the stress they have caused providing a totally inadequate service from the start!
No compensation offered at all no matter how bad the work is or what they've put the customer through disgusting, please think before using this company as I say great if you don't experience any problems but if you do they just fob you off!!!
