Hi all I’m not great at designs or colours, I’m having my bathroom done, I’ve purchase the fittings which are white, I’m torn with either black and white floor tiles, half white wall tiles and then painting the above it a bright colour or laminate tiles and the same tiles and paint or finally wickes Central Park pattern tiles on floor, white tiles and painting the above a colour from the Central Park tile!!!
Any input greatly welcomed.
Thanks

Not familiar with the designs you've quoted but having lived in houses where the previous occupiers weren't great with design or colour I would go very simple and white (or black and white)! If you want something a bit more interesting you could use different coloured grout which is then easy to replace if you / the next person who lives there doesn't like it.

Look for a picture of a bathroom you like, and copy that? Just google "bathroom ideas". I'm pretty much copying a bathroom seen on a design website.
Hard to advise without knowing the size of bathroom, style of house and so on. FWIW, I don't much like black and white and a "bright colour", but others may differ. If you want something bold, maybe olive green or navy?

It might be because I'm ill but those Wickes tiles make me feel a bit dizzy.

Thanks for all your input.
I’m keeping it simple.

I'd keep away from black and white. How about very pale grey half wall tiles with matching floor tiles or lino tiles or lino? Then a very soft (not bright) grey-green wall colour or grey blue. Look at Farrow and Ball for inspiration like Theresa's Green, Mizzle, Cromarty or a pale grey white like Cornforth white? You can always have them mixed by a cheaper brand. Find a chrome tile beading (to finish the top of the half tiles).

Personally don't like the Central Park tiles!
I prefer plain or a slight vein but if patterned I like these.
White tiles on walls, for a colour on walls above it depends how big of a space it is, if it's big you can go bold, if small a lighter colour is better.
