New boiler

Hi wise Mumsnet people. Our 20 yo boiler is kaput. Started looking for a new one and the choice is overwhelming. I have a medium to smallish 3 bed 1 bathroom properly and I know I would like a Worcester Bosch Combi . Not sure if electric or gas ? Also how much for a new boiler for a house of this size incl installation. I have BritishGas over next week for a quote but of corse I will obtain a few. Thank you So much.

Might depend on your gas pipe size. I could not have worcester Bosch . I had to go for Valliant.

No idea on cost though as was part of other work.

Think ahead of you might do building work - eg a loft conversion that would need more water as it's worth getting something now that would support it (that's why I had to change mine)
