What are the good brands to look at? Still Karndean and Amtico?

That seemed to be the consensus when I was looking a few weeks ago. However our builder convinced us to use Wickes, and the reviews were fantastic. Ours was laid last week and looks great.

We used Polyflor. It's great so far.

We’ve got Moduleo and it’s great. Been down 18 months or so

We've gone with Karndean. It's not been laid yet but the fitters (who have given excellent advice and recommendations on on carpet) said that Karndean quality is on par with Amtico but not as expensive. I'm hoping that's the case as I fell in love with Karndean's Clifton LVT.

We’ve got moduleo right through downstairs and also in the bathroom....love it
