Is anyone from or know someone who lives in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire? How do you like living there and are there any areas to avoid? We're looking to buy in Holmes Chapel, we're in early our early 30s with no DC yet. Thanks

Where are you moving from OP? Think it's mostly a good area, high school has a good reputation, traffic can be a problem though (J18/19 M6 always gridlocked).

Moving from Macclesfield, DH and I both work from home permanently.

I know 2 things about Holmes Chapel:

1 - Harry Styles
2 - it's mentioned almost daily on the traffic reports

We have friends who live there.. we have always enjoyed visiting them, it seems a nice place with a proper villagey feel to it.
