Hi
Is there such a thing as a mound specialist and have you ever used one ?!

We have mould growing in the corner of a sliding wardrobe (it's actually just a wall with a door covering, not an actual wardrobe IYSWIM

I've had to throw shoes and clothes and bags away as they've been ruined by the mould on them

I have tried tho aero 360 device things, mould paint etc

Just want the problem gone - how big a job is this? What would fix it?

Such a wasted space if we can't use it

Thanks in advance

It’s a built in wardrobe. If it’s on a outside wall, check for damage to pointing/brickwork , blocked drains and gutters, damp proof course being breached if on the ground floor.
If they are inside walls, check the other side, you may have a leaking pipe.
Make sure noting damp is put in the wardrobe and see if you can leave the door open slightly to allow air to circulate. Don’t cram the wardrobe full to overflowing - allow air to circulate.
Until you’ve solved the problem of where it’s coming from, you aren’t going to stop it by just trying to paint a thin barrier or cleaning it with various solutions.

My mum installed a PIV unit and solved this problem, as well as condensation problems. Quite expensive though.
